My Story
I never expected to become a TEDx speaker, life mentor, and professional development facilitator — but my journey as a NYC music teacher, singer-songwriter, and author led me here.
​
While teaching full-time in New York City, I experienced firsthand the exhaustion and burnout so many high-achievers face. I loved the classroom, but I also knew something was missing. In response, I began exploring mindset work, nervous system regulation, and intentional practices — not as extras, but as necessities for sustainable success.
​
That personal work sparked the creation of Motivating the Mindset, which I began building five years before leaving the classroom. What started as a passion project quickly became a mission: to support high-achieving individuals and teen athletes in restoring their energy, strengthening their mindset, and performing at their highest level without sacrificing their well-being.
​
In 2024, I shared that message on the TEDx stage in my talk, “Reclaim Your Love of Teaching,” speaking openly about the cost of burnout and the power of reconnecting with our authentic selves. The response confirmed what I already knew — this work was meant to reach far beyond one space or season.
After years of teaching by day and building Motivating the Mindset by night, I made the aligned decision to step away from the classroom and fully step into my purpose.

Today, through Motivating the Mindset LLC, I work with individuals, teams, and organizations through mentorship and mindset-driven experiences rooted in real-life application and nervous system-informed practices.

I’ve also authored two books: Motivating the Mindset: Creating Space in Your Mind and Life, a journal and coaching framework for burned-out professionals, and A Motivational Reset for the Mindset, a mindfulness guide for teens and educators.

I believe deeply in the power of shifting our thoughts, actions, and emotional responses to create meaningful change. My mission is to help others embrace their potential and lead without fear or stress — creating a ripple effect that transforms lives and communities.
